I met David Grass in London (2003), he oversaw strategic planning for Ducati, under the new American ownership. The company makes powerful, iconic motorcycles, but only a few kinds. The new owners aimed to find profit in leveraging the brand into other products such as accessories, jackets and streetwear. Inspired by the femous Ducati ‘Desmo’ engine and his ICONIC @ fungus valves@ I designed the bottle and packaging with in the intention to embrace the spirit of Ducati based on tradition and sophisticated Italian style. The idea is to have more then a bottle of perfume: a Ducati item designed for “ducatisti” and Ducati lovers. It will have the appearance of frosted glass on the two sides and it is clear in the center to emphasize the valve shape. This is one of the many products i designed for this Company.
